Photo ID
If you have a Washington photo permit or ID, that will work. If not, you will need to bring something that identifies you. The DOL website has more information about all the different forms of identification that are acceptable. Diane's Driving School has to follow those same requirements.

Washington WDL Number
If you have a Washington permit or ID, this number is on it. If you have not been issued a Washington permit, ID, or driver's license then you need to go to the DOL website and do an online pre-application. Once that pre-application has been completed, you will be issued a WDL number that we can use for testing.
Proof of Age Eligibility
Every time you come to Diane's Driving School for license testing, we are required to verify your age before administering the test. If you have a Washington permit, ID or license, that will work. Otherwise, the DOL website has information on other acceptable ways to provide proof of age.
To be eligible to take the knowledge exam, you either must be 15 years old and have completed a traffic safety course, or you must be 15 1/2 years old.
To be eligible to take the skills exam, you either must be 15 years old and have completed a traffic safety course and passed the state knowledge exam, or you must be 18 years old and passed the state knowledge exam.
